Write to us
support.pauseapp@gmail.comIf you are reporting a problem, the fastest route is Settings → Send feedback inside the app: it prepares an email with your app version, iOS version, and device model already filled in, and you can see and edit all of it before sending. We reply as soon as we reasonably can.
What you can do yourself
Most account, subscription, and privacy controls live in the app or in iOS Settings, and take effect immediately.
- Manage or cancel a subscription
- Apple handles all billing. Open your Apple ID subscription settings on your iPhone. Deleting the Pause app does not cancel a subscription.
- Get Premium back on a new device
- Use Restore purchases in the app. You do not need a Pause account — purchases are tied to your Apple ID.
- Request a refund
- Refunds are handled by Apple under Apple's policies. We cannot issue App Store refunds directly.
- Delete your account and data
- Open Settings → Delete account. This deletes your account, the data synced to it, and the Pause data stored on your device. If you cannot get into your account, email us and we will help. Deleting your account does not cancel an App Store subscription.
- Turn AI Personalization off
- Open Settings → AI Personalization. It is off by default. Turning it off stops future AI requests; it does not cancel your subscription, change your Premium access, or affect any other feature.
- Keep journals off the cloud
- Journal cloud backup is off by default, and journal entries stay on your device unless you turn it on in Settings. Journal content is never sent to an AI provider.
- Change or stop reminders
- Notification preferences and reminder times are in Settings. Reminders are scheduled locally on your device — Pause does not use push-notification servers.
- Revoke Apple Music access
- This one lives in iOS Settings rather than in Pause, and you can revoke it at any time.
What Pause is not
Pause is a general wellness and reflection app. It is not a medical device, and it does not provide medical, psychiatric, psychological, therapeutic, or crisis services. It is not suitable for emergencies.
If you are concerned about your mental or physical health, please speak to a qualified professional. In an emergency, contact your local emergency services.
The Privacy Policy describes everything Pause collects and what is never sent to an AI provider. The Terms of Use cover subscriptions, trials, and the agreement between you and the developer.
